GUIDELINES

POSTING GUIDELINES

1. If you participate in a thread, see it through and post regularly. It is not fair to make others wait for you. If something comes up, figure out a way to take your character out of the thread, or let the other players know you will be delayed.
2. All threads must be played out in the main journal. Personal journals are used for emails, private messages, letters, character diary entries, etc.
3. OOC posts should be made in the OOC community, and no where else.
4. All posts in the communities should be public. No friends locking, please. Personal journals may contain friends locked entries.
5. There are no mandatory post lengths. However, please keep in mind that you are playing with other people and should continually give them something with which to work. Give what you get.
6. Posts in the main journal should be written in 3rd person, past tense. Posts in personal journals may be 1st person, present tense.
7. If a thread is OTA (open to all), please join. However, if a thread is past round one, ask to join before jumping in to be sure you are not going to be jumping into the middle of something already planned out.
8. Use correct grammar and spelling.
9. Thread Headers:
-Who: the characters participating in the thread
-What: what is going on in the thread
-When: what time of day the thread is taking place
-Where: where the thread is taking place
-Status: in progress or completed
-Rating: G, PG, R, NC-17 some people update at work, keep smut under a cut
