| Planet/Resort FAQs |
Where is this place? Somewhere in outter space. No one really knows.
How did it come to be? Probably like any other planet in the universe.
It feels? Yes, the planet is a living entity with powers beyond those of anyone it might draw to it. It can move and grow, shift and change.
Can characters leave if they want? No. If you bring a character in, they are there to stay. There is an invisible shield/barrier around the entire planet that will keep anyone from leaving.
Can the barrier be broken? No. A character who tries to get close to the barrier will lose any of their power and plumet back to the ground. Any electronic device will lose power, those who can fly will find that their wings don't work. Brute force cannot break it and it will reject any magicks thrown at it. This includes anyone who tried to disapparate through it.
What amenities can be found on the resort? Check this list here.
My character needs special things to survive. What about that? Anything your character needs, the planet will provide.
Can my character just wander around? Yes and no. The resort is a beautiful sanctuary in the middle of a blistering desert. Your character may feel free to wander the resort, but probably decide that the desert isn't worth attempting.
Where will my character live? In the resort's lodgings. Click here for more information.

What will happen when my character arrives? Your character will arrive somewhere in or around the resort. Someone from the resort will meet them and help them realize where they are and that they aren't going to be able to leave. They will then tell them about the resort and or provide them with a tour. Your character will arrive with whatever they had about their person at the time of their departure from their own world or time.
If my character has any powers or abilities, what happens to them? They will still have their powers and be able to use them. Except against the barrier.
Can my character die? If you want them to, yes. However, they will not be able to come back from the dead and no other version of them will be able to be played in the game again.

How do personal journals work? Think of this in terms of real life. If you, personally, were going to have your own journal. You make observations, vent, talk about what has been happening to you. You either mark it friends only, or public, or private to one or more persons. Those people can then respond to your entry through their own personal journals. It's the same way for your character. Your character will make entries that are either private to themselves, private to a select person or persons, friends only, or public. Then, other characters in the game who know how to use the internet and journal would be able to respond. For example: Batman decides he's had a horrible time of the resort and wants to vent about it. He makes a public entry that anyone surfing the journal site would be able to see. Buffy the Vampire Slayer sees his entry and comments on it, telling him to get over it. It could also be uses and an Instant Messaging service, or text message service in the same way. Just make sure it is clear who the message is for.
What time period does this take place in? It's unknown. The planet has taken people from all time periods and worlds and thrown them together. Some people may be from the future, while others might be from the prehistoric era. Some people may come from different worlds all together.
How will I know what day it is, what the weather is and stuff like that? The mods will make posts every few days announcing the day change. During the day change they will also announce the weather, any strange circumstances, new arrivals and any changes to the resort.
